WEB DEVELOPMENT

While TXARTS.net will host your web site, you must locate someone to build and maintain it. The following is a list of organizations or individuals that will develop non-profit web sites for free, or at reduced cost.

Austin Area

Metropolitan Austin Interactive Network (MAIN)
Serves the Austin area non-profit community by developing and hosting their web sites for free. MAIN also hosts any Texas Arts organization's web site throught their TXARTS.net project.

The following organizations will develop and host your web site. If you elect to use their services TXARTS.net will provide a link from our directory to your web site once it is online. Just let us know how to find it.

Brian/College Station

Lockon is a definitive listing of all online and offline resources in the Bryan/College Station Area. They publish non-profit organizations (in the B/CS area) for free.

Houston

Houston Education Resource Network (HERN)
HERN is here to help both Individuals and Provider Organizations by supplying free unlimited internet access and email accounts. They also provide space for organizations' pages on the World Wide Web and various topical forums and mail-lists.

Metroplex

The Star-Telegram
They are offering nonprofit agencies free space on our Internet site, including a web page and , if requested, your own newsgroup (forum). You can use this area to post your newsletters, meeting notices, calendars and other announcements of general interest, both to your members and the community at large.
